SEYAM Development, Education and Services Organization

The SEYAM Development, Education and Services Organization (SDESO) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2013 by a dedicated group of Afghan
women human rights defenders. Headquartered in Kabul, SDESO operates with a substantial presence across Afghanistan, reaching nearly all provinces through an extensive
network of focal points and partners. As a women-led and youth-driven organization, SDESO remains deeply committed to addressing the most pressing needs of
marginalized communities, particularly women and girls.

SDESO plays a pivotal role in empowering Afghan women and girls by advocating for their rights, promoting gender equality, and enhancing access to essential services. Our
initiatives focus on delivering impactful programs in education, healthcare, and advocacy, providing the tools and resources necessary for women and girls to thrive. Our work
reflects a deep commitment to fostering social justice, equity, and sustainable development throughout Afghanistan.

Driven by core values of equity, integrity, and transparency, SDESO has established itself as a trusted advocate for women’s empowerment and community resilience. Our
holistic approach not only supports the individual growth of women and girls but also strengthens the overall social fabric of Afghanistan, creating lasting and transformative
change in communities nationwide.
